Summer Program In DC and It's FREE!

R2L NextGen is a week-long leadership and civic engagement program for high school students currently in 9^th, 10^th, and 11^th grades. CHCI will bring 40-50 Latino high school students to D.C. to learn about how the Federal Government works, meet key leaders, visit historic sites and develop a deeper understanding of how they can affect positive change in their communities and their nation.

The program, which will take place July 10-July 15, 2016, is completely FREE of charge to all selected student participants. Student must reside in Cook County in order to be eligible to apply. Detailed eligibility requirements can be found here.

Applications are now available online and must be submitted by Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.
