FREE Trip to DC Applications Due April 13th

ADL Grosfeld Family National Youth Leadership mission to Washington, D.C.
November 13th-16th, 2016

This innovative program brings a diverse group of Chicagoland high school juniors and student delegates from over 10 ADL regions to our nation’s capital to learn about the Holocaust and ways to fight prejudice in schools and communities.

The centerpiece of the Mission is a visit to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum where participants will be reminded that they each possess the power – through their actions and behavior – to make a difference in the lives of others.  Additionally, delegates will hear from liberators, survivors and scholars, and take part in ADL’s A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute anti-bias programming where they will have the opportunity to share their personal experiences with bullying, hatred and discrimination, and discuss how the lessons of the Holocaust can be applied today.

In order to be considered, applicants MUST fill out this application - http://chicago.adl.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/2016-NYLM-Application.pdf - and submit the essay, commit to the 3 pre-trip meetings, the trip itself in November, 2016.
